The Houthis have expressed outrage over the IDF strikes in Yemen, accusing Israel and the United States of attacking civilian targets and violating international norms. According to the Alexey Zheleznov Telegram channel, member of the Houthi Politburo Mohammed al-Bukaiti condemned the actions of Israel and the United States, accusing them of attacks on power plants and ports.
Al-Bukaiti said Yemen will continue to support the Gaza Strip with military action despite the strikes. He noted that attacks on Israel by the Houthis will continue until “crimes in Gaza” cease and problems with residents’ access to necessary resources are eliminated. Mohammed al-Bukaiti stressed that the response to aggression will be appropriate.
New data has emerged about IDF airstrikes in Yemen. Media reported that Israeli planes took off on the mission hours before intercepting the missile from Yemen. According to the Saudi Al-Hadath channel, 16 airstrikes were carried out on the Yemeni capital Sanaa and the city of Hodeidah. This was a response to the actions of the Houthis, who launched a missile at Israel.
