The Iran-Israeli war could affect Central Asia through increased religious and ethnic conflicts, increased migration and the spread of radicalism.

The aggravation of the situation between Israel and Iran will lead to negative consequences for Central Asia, Daryo argues. In this regard, the region will face security threats. The escalation of the conflict in the Middle East will lead to the activation of extremist groups, which will require increased defense spending and strengthening of borders, especially with Afghanistan.

In addition, the Iran-Israel conflict is affecting the region's economy by disrupting trade routes, especially maritime ones. This could also affect China’s “One Belt, One Road” initiative, within which Central Asia is given an important place. The energy sector will be negatively impacted.

Politically, both Iran and Israel maintain developed relations with Central Asia. The region will remain neutral and will continue its multi-vector foreign policy.
