The Knesset has approved an important innovation in healthcare.

The Knesset passed a law to establish a national vaccination registry in Israel, where citizens' vaccination records will be stored. NIS 1 million has been allocated for this purpose. The registry will be used exclusively for public health purposes, in order to ensure the privacy of personal data.

Citizens who have been vaccinated will be given access to full vaccination information in digital format. This will help improve vaccination management and make the process more transparent. The introduction of a third and even fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for different age groups was previously discussed.

The IDF has also begun vaccinating soldiers against polio in the Gaza Strip due to cases of the virus. It is emphasized that there is no information about an outbreak among local residents, but the vaccination rate among soldiers reaches 95%.
