On February 28, 2025, a special event will take place in Haifa – “Path of Peace – Farewell to Winter”, organized by the “Rivnovaha” project in cooperation with Alice Bryginska and טל מיכאילנקו. This event aims to unite people in the spirit of peace, harmony, and traditions, as well as to become another symbol of friendship between Ukraine and Israel.
Organizers emphasize:
“We want this day to be an opportunity for all of us to connect, honor winter, reflect on peace, and simply enjoy time in the picturesque locations of Haifa.”
During the event, participants will follow an ancient route that includes significant religious and historical sites.
Event Route
🔹 Elijah’s Cave – a site revered in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. According to tradition, the Prophet Elijah lived and prayed here.
🔹 Tomb of Sharbel – a place of worship associated with Christian Saint Sharbel.
🔹 Stella Maris Monastery – a Carmelite monastery at the top of Mount Carmel, offering panoramic views of the coastline.
🔹 Photos with the Ukrainian flag – participants will take pictures at the highest point of the coastline.
🔹 Wellness exercises – a set of practices at the mountain summit.
🔹 Live musical instruments – a performance by musicians playing authentic instruments.
