According to information received from the source, the United States has begun closed negotiations with Iran through Arab mediators to end hostilities in the Middle East.
Israel, in turn, plans to negotiate from a position of strength and insists on the fulfillment of certain conditions for concluding a truce.
So far, negotiations are being conducted without the participation of Jerusalem, and Israel’s position on this issue remains ambiguous. However, an Israeli government source stressed that a truce with Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran can only be achieved if the conditions put forward by the country are met.
In particular, it is planned to withdraw Hezbollah units beyond the Litani River to create a zone without armed forces in Southern Lebanon, in accordance with UN Resolution No. 1701.
