Speaking about the situation in Ukraine, Kallas emphasized that the victory of Ukraine must remain a priority for the European Union, and confirmed the need to continue support in the amount that is required. “The situation on the front line is very difficult. Therefore, we need to continue working daily with more significant financial and military assistance that is needed. This must be confirmed by Ukraine’s clear course towards joining the European Union,” Kallas emphasized.

Given the scale of the damage, there will likely be nothing left of the frozen assets after compensation, Kallas added.
