Preparation for the Arrival of Pilgrims in Uman

In Uman on September 10, 2025, a meeting was held dedicated to the authorities’ preparation for the arrival of pilgrims, attended by Rabbi Natan ben Non, head of the Union of Breslov in Uman, and Rabbi Shaul Horowitz, a representative of Chabad in Vinnytsia. The main goal of the meeting was to ensure the unconditional safety and comfort of the parishioners, taking into account the unique needs of the Hasidim.

Discussion of Logistics and Safety

The meeting participants discussed methods to optimize the movement of pilgrims, guaranteed their safety, and aimed to minimize possible delays. A large number of people are expected to pass through the Vinnytsia railway station and the Mogilev-Podolsky border checkpoint on their way to Uman.

The Role of Local Authorities in Organization

Rabbi Natan ben Non emphasized the importance of strong cooperation between the Union of Breslov and local authorities, as well as representatives of the Ukrainian state administration, to ensure the safety of all travelers during the X anniversary of Rosh Hashanah in Uman.

Rabbi Shaul Horowitz, who actively assists the Jewish community of Ukraine and pilgrims throughout the year, highly appreciated the assistance of the railway management and border service. He emphasized the need for coordination of all services to ensure a comfortable trip for thousands of Hasidim heading to Uman for Rosh Hashanah.
