“Today our main strength is unity, faith in ourselves and our country”: Ukrainian President Zelensky congratulated Jewish communities in Ukraine and the world on the holiday of Passover

The head of the state of Ukraine emphasized that today “we remember the history of liberation, the escape from slavery – events that teach us to truly value freedom.”

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, on the evening of April 12, 2025, congratulated Jews and Jewish communities in Ukraine and around the world on the holiday of Passover.

This was reported by the official resource of the President of Ukraine.

He added that many recall the history of liberation, the escape from slavery – events that teach us to truly value freedom, fight for it, and protect the people (Ukr.):

“I sincerely congratulate you on Passover – a joyful and bright holiday that gives life-giving strength and faith in the victory of justice and goodness. A special holiday, marking the long-awaited liberation after long times of suffering and slavery. An important holiday, reminding once again of the value of freedom.”
