The United States is preparing a $375 million military aid package for Ukraine, which is expected to be announced next week, Reuters reports, citing anonymous US officials.
The aid package includes patrol boats, additional ammunition for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition, spare parts and other weapons.
Earlier, on September 11, the United States announced that it would provide Ukraine with new financial support. The amount of aid amounted to more than 700 million dollars.
On April 20 this year, the US House of Representatives approved a national security bill that provides $95 billion in military aid to Ukraine, Israel and other US allies, including Ukraine in the amount of approximately $61 billion.
The vote came after Democrats and Republicans reached agreement on the bills after months of disagreement among some Republicans over continued U.S. support for Ukraine amid Russia's invasion.
