Foreign embassies in Beirut have begun implementing plans to evacuate their citizens, which were drawn up at the start of the war on October 7. They are exploring possible routes out of the country via roads, airports and seaports in case the local airport stops functioning. Previously, the embassies limited themselves to warning their citizens, but now they are ready to take concrete measures.

The speaker of the Lebanese parliament reported a call from the American envoy and other US officials asking them not to respond to possible attacks. However, Hezbollah confirmed its readiness to respond to any aggression, refusing to not respond to expected Israeli attacks. They are ready to attack various military targets.

Despite some flight cancellations to Beirut, the international airport remains operational. Although some airlines have temporarily suspended flights, the airport is still operational. It could become a key evacuation point for foreign nationals if the situation in the region worsens.
