Yemeni militants fired rockets into central Israel, triggering a missile alert.

The rocket alert sounded in 265 locations in central Israel, including Gush Dan, Samaria, Sharon, Judea, Jerusalem and its environs, and the Shfela area. A ballistic missile was launched from Yemen, to which IDF air defense responded with a successful attempt to shoot it down. One missile intrusion into Israeli airspace was officially recorded.

Police sent patrols to search for fallen missile or anti-missile debris. The civilian population is asked not to approach such objects due to the danger, but to report them by calling 100 and wait for demining specialists. Medical teams have already treated 12 victims of falls on their way to shelters and nine who suffered severe nervous shock.

In Modi'in, debris from an anti-missile missile fell without casualties. The debris fell in a vacant lot, but no one was injured. This was part of a response to a missile launch from a country on the Arabian Peninsula that violated Israeli airspace.
