Iran disagrees with Western calls not to attack Israel.

Iran has refused calls from Britain, France and Germany to refrain from attacking Israel, a move that could worsen tensions in the Middle East.

Iran called the call an “excessive request” and expressed its determination to resist Israel. An Iranian official stressed that the country was ready to confront the Israeli regime and called on the West to oppose the warmongering.

The British Prime Minister has called the Iranian President, urging him not to attack Israel.

In turn, the US ambassador to Turkey asked allies who maintain ties with Iran to influence the Tehran authorities to reduce tensions in the Middle East region. Military actions and a possible conflict in the Gaza Strip are causing serious concerns between the countries.
