The IDF announced the elimination of one of the key commanders of the Islamic Jihad, Faras Qassem, on the border between Lebanon and Syria on August 28.
Qasem helped recruit terrorists for the Lebanese Hezbollah in the Palestinian Authority, so his elimination is considered a major achievement.
In addition to Qasem, several other terrorists traveling from Syria to Lebanon were killed in the airstrike.
