Mossad falsely led the Iranian branch fighting Israel.

Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke about how Israeli intelligence services penetrated the leadership of the security forces of the Islamic Republic. He claims that in the past a special unit was created in Iran to fight Israel, but its leader and several employees turned out to be Mossad agents.

According to Ahmadinejad, Mossad successfully infiltrated Iranian intelligence services to carry out complex operations, including the theft of a nuclear archive and the assassination of nuclear physicists. The former president served from 2005 to 2013, and tried to run for president in 2017 and 2024, but was barred from running.

This whole scandal became known thanks to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s interview with the Turkish edition of the American television channel CNN. He not only accused the Israeli intelligence services of infiltration, but also spoke about the details of their actions in Iran, which caused widespread public outcry.
