The IDF press service confirmed that targeted strikes were carried out on Hezbollah infrastructure facilities in Beirut. Steps leading up to the attack were taken to minimize risks to civilians, including advance warning to area residents. Hezbollah actively uses buildings in the city center to hide its facilities.

Israeli Air Force fighters attacked the Hamas commander in Lebanon, Mohammed Hossein Ali al-Mahmoud. This is the second terrorist killed by the IDF in Lebanon. Previous attacks have hit various areas, resulting in both terrorist and civilian casualties.
