US President-elect Donald Trump has refused to appoint former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to any positions in the future administration.
The media linked them to Israel and their support for the government. Trump expressed gratitude for their service, adding that he “will not invite Haley and Pompeo to join the emerging administration.”
Earlier, information appeared that Haley and Pompeo could occupy high positions in the new US presidential administration. Trump wrote that he had appreciated working with them in the past and was grateful for their service. It is not yet clear who will occupy key positions in the future government, but the refusal to appoint Haley and Pompeo caused widespread resonance in the American media.
