From October 19 to 23, 2025, Israel will host a touring production of the play “Everything is Possible” — a romantic lyrical comedy performed in Ukrainian with Russian subtitles. The performance will take place in Petah Tikva, Ashdod, Rishon LeZion, Haifa, and Netanya. On stage — Ukrainian actors whose sincerity, life experience, and talent create a true theatrical miracle.

About the Play

“Everything is Possible” is a romantic-comedy stage production that has toured successfully among Ukrainian audiences abroad. Light, heartfelt, and touching, it tells the story of a random encounter that can change everything — about warmth overcoming loneliness, about storms both outside and within.

.......

Script, Direction & Origins

The script was written by Olga Stepnova, a contemporary Russian playwright. Her play “The Bus Stop” became the basis for “Everything is Possible”. In the Ukrainian-language adaptation, the original plot and characters were preserved while adding local flavor.

The director is Mykhailo Pshenychnyi — a Ukrainian theater and film actor, who also plays one of the lead roles. Pshenychnyi had prior experience performing in the original version and now leads the production as a director, combining romance and light comedy to bring emotional dynamics to the stage.

Cast

The current cast features well-known Ukrainian actors, stars of film and television:

  • Liubava Hreshnova — plays the lead female role (Polina, a runaway bride from a wealthy family).
  • Mykhailo Pshenychnyi — plays one of the lead male roles (likely Kyrylo, a reserved archivist) and directs the play.
  • Vitalii Saliy — plays the “third wheel” character who appears midway through the story.

At different stages, other well-known performers have joined the cast. At the Kyiv premiere, Ihor Portianko and Oleksii Nahrudnyi performed. For the London premiere, People’s Artist of Ukraine Oleksii Vertynskyi joined the ensemble.

History of the Production

“Everything is Possible” is based on the play “The Bus Stop” by Olga Stepnova, originally staged in Russia as a contemporary comedic parable about unexpected love at a bus stop.

The Ukrainian version was created after 2022 — directed by Mykhailo Pshenychnyi in collaboration with the Actor Theatre in Kyiv. The premiere took place on May 26, 2023. Since then, the play has lived its own life in Ukrainian: after success in Kyiv, it toured Europe — shown in Amsterdam and Brussels in April 2024, and on November 3, 2024, held a sold-out premiere in London (Logan Hall).

Today, “Everything is Possible” has become a Ukrainian theatrical production, created by a Ukrainian team and aimed at Ukrainian audiences abroad.

What’s It About?

Polina — a wealthy, spoiled bride — runs away from her wedding. Kyrylo — an introverted museum archivist. Their chance meeting at a bus stop during a storm becomes the start of a major inner transformation.

Forced solitude, unexpected conversations, awkwardness, honesty, humor, and tension — all unfold here and now. Suddenly, a third person appears — impulsive, charismatic, unpredictable — and everything changes.

The play tells how one encounter can change a life, how trust grows through fear, how warmth emerges in the cold of loneliness. This is a story about us — modern, real, searching.

What Will the Audience See?

They love each other. But each has a secret. Then — a storm. A bus stop shelters them. And someone else arrives, changing their lives completely…

This is more than a romantic story — it’s an encounter that changes everything. A light, soulful, witty play about fateful coincidences. About trust, fear, and the warmth that defeats loneliness.

Featuring Ukrainian actors who have lived through war, loss, and emigration — yet still bring light and hope to the stage.
