The event is intended to mark outstanding achievements in Ukrainian fiction related to Ukrainian-Jewish relations. A presentation of five shortlisted books is planned, as well as a discussion of modern intercultural communication. The jury will select a winner among various genres, including a mystical thriller and a novel highlighting the classics of Hasidism. The conversation will be supported by jury members, including Maria Henkin, who cultivates a Ukrainian book club in New York, and Volodymyr Yeshkilev, a well-known writer from Ivano-Frankivsk.
