According to Reuters, after defeating Hamas, Hezbollah and Syria, Israel may turn its attention to Iran.

In 2025, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to deal with Iran, which is his sworn enemy. In an attack on Iran in October 2025, Israel destroyed a secret nuclear weapons research facility, damaging Iran's efforts to restart its nuclear weapons program.
