Another 68 people were evacuated from Lebanon, including citizens of NATO countries.

Ukrainians and citizens of seven other countries were evacuated from Lebanon due to deteriorating security and economic situation.

The plane from Beirut airport landed in Rzeszow, Poland, where 28 Ukrainians were evacuated – 19 adults and nine children. They are heading to Ukraine, along with two dogs.

As part of the mission, 40 foreigners left Lebanon, including citizens of Moldova, Argentina, Mexico, the Czech Republic, Colombia, Romania and Lebanon. The operation was successful, without complications. Previously, 234 people were evacuated.

On the evening of September 30, the Israel Defense Forces' ground operation against Hezbollah began in Lebanon. Israeli tanks entered Rmeish in southern Lebanon, preceded by massive artillery fire on the village of Wazzani. On October 1, the IDF announced the launch of an operation against Hezbollah in Lebanon, highlighting the threat to Israeli settlements along the border. The US and Israeli defense ministers negotiated the IDF's entry into Lebanon, supporting “Israel's right to self-defense.”

The operation aims to destroy Hezbollah's infrastructure to prevent attacks on northern Israel.
