Following the assassination of Hassan, Nasrallah, Sinwar and other Hamas commanders suspended their movements and canceled planned meetings in Lebanon. High-ranking members of Islamic Jihad took similar measures.

In addition, the Hamas leadership has switched to written communication and is limited in communication. Sinwar also changed his location in Gaza after recent events.
