The autumn draft in the army provides a clear picture: who comes to serve and from which countries the flow is formed. The IDF has published updated data on the draft for November–December, and they show a steady demand for service among immigrants and lone soldiers.

The gender statistics look predictable: 64.78% of conscripts are men, 35.22% are women. The balance changes slightly year by year, but the share of girls remains consistently high for a combat army.

The November-December draft included three key groups. These are 635 new immigrants (328 men and 307 women), 589 lone soldiers (291 men and 298 women), and 100 young people from families affected by the war. These categories form the basis of the current autumn flow.

The picture by country of origin is broad: most immigrants came from the USA, Russia, and Ukraine. But the list also covers rare destinations — from South Korea and Bulgaria to Kenya, Haiti, Monaco, and Taiwan. In several cases, it is about a single conscript from a specific country.

The geography within Israel also shows interesting proportions. In the north, Metula leads, from where two recruits came, and the largest flow from the south is provided by Eilat — 151 people. Southern cities continue to provide the army with a significant share of young servicemen.

A separate figure — 11.9% of future soldiers have already undergone pre-army programs or had military experience abroad. Among them, 9.92% are men and 15.55% are women. This is a systematic increase in the prepared contingent, which reduces the load on basic training.

The distribution by draft districts looks like this: Tel HaShomer — 37.22%, Haifa — 18.99%, Jerusalem — 17.59%, Be’er Sheva — 15.82%, Tiberias — 10.38%. These five districts form the overall architecture of the draft at the end of the year.

The autumn draft confirms the trend of recent years: the army remains multinational, socially diverse, and relies on a high percentage of immigrants and lone soldiers. This composition continues to strengthen the country’s defensive resilience, and this is exactly how it is assessed by experts quoted by “NANews — News of Israel | Nikk.Agency”.
