The French Foreign Ministry has advised its citizens in Iran to leave the country due to the risk of military escalation between Israel and Tehran. It also notes that all of Iran is officially marked as dangerous for travel on the travel advisory map.
The French Foreign Ministry advises those who decide to stay in Iran to be vigilant, avoid demonstrations, monitor the situation and maintain contact with the French embassy. The recommendations come amid reports that Iran and its allies may be preparing to attack Israel.
Poland has also urged its citizens to avoid travelling to Lebanon, Israel and Iran due to the unstable security situation. The Polish Foreign Ministry has warned that leaving these countries will become increasingly difficult, a sign of rising tensions in the region.
