Former US President and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump is suing the UK Labor Party, accusing it of interfering in the 2024 presidential election. According to Trump, Labor illegally helped his opponent, Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. The complaint drew widespread attention as Trump demanded an immediate investigation by the US Federal Election Commission.

Trump's team noted that Labor Party officials, including British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's chief of staff, Morgan MacSweeney, had actively supported Harris' campaign. Reference was made to a since-deleted LinkedIn post from Labor spokeswoman Sophia Patel, in which she talked about recruiting around 100 party workers to support the US campaign.

Trump's lawyers argue that such support violates US political campaign finance laws due to the direct interference of foreign powers. Elon Musk, a major donor to the Trump campaign, also intervened in the scandal, calling Labor's actions “illegal” and calling for the intervention of US authorities to stop this “election interference.”

According to Financial Time

Harris, if he wins, may change his policy towards Ukraine. Experts spoke about how she perceives the war. It was also mentioned about “Putin’s” support for Harris and why the Kremlin praises the Democrats. Experts suggested that Harris could lose the election because of Netanyahu and described how Israel is using the war against the Democrats.
