Iran will respond to Israeli attack using 'all possible means'

On Monday, October 28, 2024, Iranian Foreign Ministry Speaker Esmail Baghai said that Tehran is ready to use all possible methods in response to Israel’s attack on military targets in Iran.

He stressed that the response would be “explicit and effective against the Zionist regime.” The exact nature of Iran's response will depend on the nature of the Israeli attack. Bagai did not disclose details.

Further, Iran had previously downplayed the significance of the Israeli attack, saying it caused only limited damage. US President Joe Biden called for an end to the escalation caused by the attack, fearing wider conflict in the Middle East.

Iran's top leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Sunday that Iranian officials must determine the best way to project Iran's power against Israel. He stressed that the Israeli attack should neither be minimized nor exaggerated.
