Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said on Sunday that the army was stepping up attacks against Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon, near the border with Israel. He noted that the Israeli military was destroying the enemy in all villages along the border where Hezbollah was planning attacks on Israel. Israel has been discussing the possibility of a new attack on Iran for three weeks after the incident with a Hezbollah drone that exploded near the home of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“There is no doubt that another red line has been crossed here,” Foreign Minister Israel Katz said in an interview with Israel's Channel 14 on Saturday evening. “We must stop the threat posed by Iran.” Netanyahu's planning for an attack on Iran came at the end of a day of intense fighting in both Lebanon and Gaza. In Lebanon, Israeli forces struck Hezbollah's command center and weapons workshop in Beirut, while an Israeli strike in northern Gaza resulted in casualties.

Without the slightest doubt, the killing of Hamas leader Sinwar could have been a turning point in the conflict, but the fight continues and Israeli actions escalate. Both organizations, Hezbollah and Hamas, are considered terrorist not only in Israel, but also in the United States and many other countries. The release of the hostages is on the agenda, and Israel is ready to reward the Gazans for their help in their return.
