More than 5,500 foreign journalists came to Israel to report on the War of Iron Swords.

According to the Israeli government press service, the War of Iron Swords has become one of the most significant media events in the country. More than 5,500 international journalists arrived to cover the conflict. The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) sent the most journalists with 425, followed by US broadcaster NBC (207) and other prominent media outlets.

It is noted that 60 percent of journalists came from the USA, Great Britain, France and Germany. Even countries that usually do not actively cover events in Israel sent their correspondents this time – Romania, Ukraine, Argentina, Nepal and Singapore. The diversity of journalists' nationalities speaks to the international significance of this conflict.
