On September 9, 2024, Benjamin Netanyahu filed a petition with the Jerusalem District Court to block the release of video and audio recordings of his interrogations included in the documentary ahead of the screening of the film “The Bibi File” in Toronto.

He will not be able to stop the upcoming screening of the film, but is trying to avoid the publication of recordings of his and his family's interrogations in Israel.

The petition also mentions journalist Raviv Drucker, who took part in the making of the film. On September 10, Vesti reported that director Alex Gibney had brought a new film about Netanyahu to the Toronto Film Festival, containing previously unpublished materials from the investigation into “corruption cases.”

The film will feature interviews with various figures, including journalist Raviv Drucker. Filming of Netanyahu's interrogations began in 2016 and has attracted public attention.

“These recordings shed light on Netanyahu's corrupt personality,” Gibney said.

He managed to get them last year and began work on the film. In 2019, Gibney noted the similarities between “the Israeli prime minister” and “Putin,” arguing that both “seek power by any means necessary.”
