What is another similarity between Russia and Iran now?
The Russians are faced with a choice: either respond with a massive missile strike to the Ukrainian Armed Forces operation in the Kursk region and remain without missiles on Ukraine's Independence Day, or hold off and prepare for a missile strike before or after the holiday. This is considered the most dangerous time.
The military-political observer of the Information Resistance group, Alexander Kovalenko, spoke about this in interview.
The expert noted that a possible missile strike would not differ from previous ones, since Russia does not have the ability to arrange an apocalypse from 200 missiles due to limited resources and technical limitations. Such a strike would be standard, although it could be associated with an act of revenge.
The military expert noted that in this matter Russia is very reminiscent of Iran, which on July 31, after the liquidation of Hamas functionaries, threatened to launch a massive attack on Israel, but this has not yet happened.
“It seems to me that in Tehran, when they saw the Kursk operation – oh, now everyone will be distracted by the Kursk region, what’s happening there in Russia, and everyone will forget that we threatened Israel, maybe it will pass, there will be no need to do anything, and maybe that’s exactly what they will do, like we threatened you there, well, let it remain that way, that’s it, we’re off.
Here, Russia reminds me of this very thing, because indeed, after the start of the Kursk operation, many expected that there would still be a missile strike in the first days – but it didn’t happen,” added Alexander Kovalenko.
