The US, UK and German ambassadors to Israel have called for a Gaza ceasefire deal to be reached as soon as possible, warning that the window of opportunity could be closing. They expressed concern and called for decisive action, according to The Times of Israel.

In his speech, US Ambassador Lew stressed the importance of the upcoming meeting in Doha and the need to resolve the issue. He also noted the need for the hostages to be reunited with their families as soon as possible and to ensure a stable situation in the region.

The British ambassador, Walters, expressed London's support for efforts to free the hostages and stressed that further delays were unacceptable. He also stressed that “August 15 is the time to reach an agreement” and asked Iran to refrain from obstructing actions.

German Ambassador Seibert called this week potentially decisive for the fate of the hostages and noted that millions are awaiting the outcome of tomorrow's talks, which could lead to an end to the fighting and the return of Israeli settlers home.

The leaders of the United States, Qatar and Egypt have called on Israel and Hamas to resume talks on a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages on August 15. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has confirmed the dispatch of an Israeli delegation to Doha for talks, which will include key figures from the Israeli intelligence and military. The talks are scheduled to last two days and begin on Thursday.
