The IDF killed Nabil Kauk, head of Hezbollah's counterintelligence.

The IDF continues to eliminate influential members of Hezbollah. Among the victims is Nabil Kauk, head of counterintelligence and member of the party's central council. The IDF bombed his home in Beirut, where he was staying.

At the same time, he announced the death of Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah.

Nabil Kaouk was raised in Iran and trained with instructors from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. He held a key position in Hezbollah and was considered a potential heir to Nasrallah.

Israel already tried to destroy him during the Second Lebanon War, and since 2020 he has been on the US Treasury's list of terrorists.
