Tehran again denied the transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia and noted that cooperation between Iran and the Russian Federation began long before the war against Ukraine. This was announced by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, reports UNN.
Arakchi confirmed:
“I clearly said and repeat again: we did not provide Russia with ballistic missiles. If Europe needs something to calm Israel's blackmail, look for a different story.”
The minister also noted that Iranian-Russian military cooperation is not new, but has its own history long before the start of Russia’s war against Ukraine. He also added that “some Europeans” provided Israel with various types of weapons.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his government has not transferred any weapons to Russia since coming to power in August.
