Russian propagandists targeting foreign audiences, including in South America, call Ukrainians “Nazis,” while for the Kremlin, anyone who does not support Russia is considered a Nazi.
Lilia Lemoyne, a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress of Argentina, spoke about this in an interview with Ukrinform.
“Everything that Russians tell other countries is a big lie. You probably know what people say about Ukraine abroad. They say that Ukraine is a failed country and that all Ukrainians are Nazis. But, in fact, for the Kremlin, anyone who does not support Russia is considered a Nazi,” Lemoyne emphasized.
The Argentine legislator also noted that the Russians are trying to present themselves as “good guys,” but when looking at the facts, this seems impossible for many reasons. Lemoyne cited the visit to Uman as an example of the absurdity of the Russian narrative of “Nazis” in power in Ukraine, a city visited by Hasidim every year.
“Just imagine how many Jews come to Uman, and Russia still says that Ukraine is a country of Nazis! How is this even possible? Moreover, your president is of Jewish origin,” Lemoyne added.
