Four years of silence β and the mechanism is starting again.
Ukraine and Israel confirm the resumption of the joint commission on trade and economic cooperation. The last meeting was in 2021, and only now are the parties returning to the format of official negotiations.
Kachka to lead the Ukrainian delegation
In the next two weeks, a Ukrainian delegation will arrive in Israel, led by Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Taras Kachka.
Local media emphasize: this is the first visit of a Ukrainian minister of such level to Israel since the start of the full-scale Russian aggression.
Neither the date nor the city of the negotiations have been announced yet. Official statements only mention “in Israel.”
Who represents Israel
On the Israeli side, the commission meeting will be conducted by Minister Zeev Elkin.
He returns to the role of negotiator, which he held in 2021, as confirmed by Ukrainian sources.
