XTEND CEO Aviv Shapira emphasizes that Israeli drones have become a solution to the problem of time constraints in soldier training. The AI system allows the drone to plan flights, avoid obstacles, and perform tasks without human intervention. It takes the operator only 15 minutes to master control, making the system accessible even to newcomers on the battlefield.

The technology, using satellite communication, solves the problem of delay, allowing drones to operate effectively over long distances. This opens new horizons for operations, where the situation can be monitored in real-time and targets can be engaged at a significant distance from the operator.

XTEND drones are controlled from mobile or static “nests.” These nests provide automatic replacement of batteries and ammunition, freeing soldiers from the need to carry additional equipment. This solution expands the capabilities of special units, eliminating distance limitations and providing flexibility in actions.

In a typical mission, drones explore a building occupied by terrorists. The operator, observing through the Honey Badger drone’s camera, controls the actions of other devices waiting for commands. The software automatically highlights objects of interest, and the strike drone Scorpio creates a passage for further actions. This approach minimizes risks and increases the accuracy of operations.
Drone Xtender: Maneuvering in Dangerous Conditions
The Xtender drone, designed for indoor operations, penetrates inside, controlled by the operator. Artificial intelligence helps maneuver in complex conditions, enhancing safety and strike accuracy, even in the most confined spaces.
Unbreakable Communication: Top-Level Security
The XTEND drone system is equipped with dual communication, operating both via radio and fiber optic cable. This makes the devices resistant to jamming attempts. The Electronic Safety and Arming Device (ESAD) protects the transported ammunition, minimizing the risk of accidents.
Ukraine and the “Drone Wall”
