The United States has deployed F-15E fighter jets to the Middle East from the Mountain Home base in Idaho. This increase is due to the aggravation of the situation in the region. The Pentagon is sending additional planes due to a possible Israeli operation against Iran in response to the missile attack.
As a result of the approvals, American troops have already received reinforcements with F/A-18 fighters and the E-2D Hawkeye reconnaissance aircraft.
They plan to continue consultations with the Israelis regarding their possible response to Iran's actions. Other security measures include sending additional squadrons of F-16, F-15E and A-10 fighter jets.
US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has ordered an increased military presence in the region due to concerns about the escalating situation in the Middle East following the killing of senior Hezbollah and Hamas commanders, both of whom have Iranian backing.
