Ukrainian comedian Vasyl Baidak in Israel: laughter, absurdity, and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On July 12 and 13, 2025, in the two largest cities of Israel — Haifa and Tel Aviv — unique stand-up performances by Vasyl Baidak, one of the brightest and most unpredictable Ukrainian artists, will take place. These shows are not only cultural events but also acts of solidarity: all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Who is Vasyl Baidak?
Baidak is a two-time winner of the Independent All-Ukrainian Stand-Up Festival, a participant of the cult “Andy Kaufman Show”, an actor of the legendary absurdist theater “Vorobushek”, and the creator of the unique stage character Bubuduk. His humor combines improvisation, theatre, philosophy, and kindness.
