In the historical center of Kyiv (Ukraine), on Borichev Tok street (houses 17-19-21), a new architectural object will appear – Golda Meir Square. This land was previously leased from the Russian Embassy, which was planning the construction of its new building. However, after the outbreak of Russian aggression in 2014, the lease agreement was terminated, and the site returned to the municipal property of the city.
“The creation of such a park on the site of former Russian land is a vivid example of how Ukraine is rethinking its past and building a future,” — emphasized the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko.
Last year, the Kiev City Council officially awarded the land the status of a public garden, naming it in honor of Golda Meir, an outstanding statesman and one of the founders of the state of Israel.
Who is funding the project?
The work to create the park is financed by the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine. As reported on the charity fund page “If not now, then when”the project brought together the efforts of several architectural bureaus: two from Ukraine, one from Germany and one from Spain.

- Granite tiles various types of processing – chipped, polished and others.
- Complete absence of barriers so that the space is accessible to everyone.
