In Israel, the alleged perpetrators of the assassination attempt on businessman Timur Mindich were reportedly arrested. With such a statement, Ihor Kolomoisky spoke on December 17, 2025, during another court session, pointing to an investigation that, according to him, is being conducted outside of Ukraine.
This concerns Timur Mindich β a figure in a corruption case in the energy sector, whose name has been repeatedly mentioned in the materials of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau. Kolomoisky claims that the incident occurred on Israeli territory and that the suspects were detained by local law enforcement agencies.
The information about the statement from the court was publicly recounted by the People’s Deputy from the “European Solidarity” party, Oleksiy Honcharenko, on his Telegram channel.
According to him, it was specifically about the words spoken directly from the defendant’s bench.
Kolomoisky also reported that the investigation is allegedly checking the origin of the weapon used in the attack, as well as its route to Israel. This aspect, according to him, is one of the key points in the investigation.
Separately, the businessman stated that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau is allegedly considering the possibility of conducting searches at the Ukrainian embassy in Israel. There were no official confirmations of these words at the time of publication.
During the session, Kolomoisky touched upon the results of the “Midas” operation, conducted by NABU and SAP, which revealed new details of schemes related to Mindich. He noted that he knows the name of the organizer but deliberately refuses to name it, arguing this with a reluctance to put pressure on the investigation.
There was also a suggestion that new episodes of the so-called “Mindich tapes” are not being published for reasons related to behind-the-scenes agreements. Specific details of these claims were not disclosed in court.
What is known about the alleged assassination attempt
On December 10, Kolomoisky first stated in the courtroom that the assassination attempt on Timur Mindich allegedly took place on November 28 on Israeli territory.
The Israeli police, in turn, officially reported that they do not have information about an assassination attempt on Mindich, who is under Ukrainian sanctions. This statement added uncertainty to the whole story.
Meanwhile, Oleksiy Honcharenko claims that the incident did take place. According to him, two men attacked a housekeeper, inflicting several stab wounds on her, after which they were detained. The Israeli police, according to him, are investigating this episode.
Honcharenko also stated that the homes of Mindich and Kolomoisky in Israel are “literally opposite each other,” which, according to his version, explains the context of what happened.
On December 11, Kolomoisky made another sensational statement, claiming that the weapon used by the alleged attacker was obtained through the Ukrainian embassy. These words also did not receive official confirmation.
The story around Mindich, the Israeli trace, and Kolomoisky’s statements remains at the level of public assertions, which have not yet been supported by the conclusions of law enforcement agencies.
