Zelensky: “They targeted everything that sustains life”
Volodymyr Zelensky issued a statement:
“Almost the entire night, air raid sirens sounded across Ukraine – 477 drones were in our skies, most of them Russian-Iranian Shaheds, and 60 missiles of various types. Russians targeted everything that sustains life.
Moscow won’t stop as long as it can launch mass strikes. This week alone saw more than 114 missiles, over 1,270 drones, and nearly 1,100 guided bombs.
putin has long decided to continue the war, ignoring the world’s calls for peace. We must end this war. Pressure must be put on the aggressor. Protection is needed — from ballistic missiles, rockets, drones, from terror. Ukraine must strengthen its air defense. What best protects life — are the American systems we are ready to buy.
