North Korean troops arrived in Mariupol and near Kharkov, preparing for assaults, CNN reports

The DPRK military is already in occupied Mariupol and in the territories of the Kharkov region captured by the Russians. CNN reports this with reference to a source in the SBU.

According to the source, “technical advisers” arrived in Mariupol, dressed in Russian military uniforms, but separated from Russian units.

“While other foreign fighters in the Russian ranks have mixed with units, the North Koreans are kept separate – they have their own quarters, food, music and films,” the source added.

North Korean troops were also spotted in the Kharkov region, as confirmed by radio intercepts.

“They are preparing for worsening weather conditions, as this is a good time to launch assault operations against the enemy,” said commander Nazariy Kishak.

The source also claims that Ukrainian missile attacks on Russia were aimed at a North Korean general, but it is not known whether he was killed. The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on a facility in the Kursk region on November 20. Analysts believe that the use of a large number of missiles indicates a high priority target, perhaps the bunker containing the generals was attacked. The next day, a high-ranking North Korean general is injured.
