Russian troops awaiting evacuation from Syria are engaged in drunkenness and looting, the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine reported.

The Russian Federation will redeploy its units to the Tartus and Khmeimim bases in Syria. Russian soldiers waiting for their flights drink alcohol and commit looting. Every day, 4-5 flights of Russian military transport aviation depart from the Syrian bases of Tartus and Khmeimim.

The Russian contingent in Syria is relocating to the main bases in Tartus and Khmeimim in anticipation of evacuation. Russian soldiers already at evacuation sites often engage in looting and drink alcohol. Every day, 4-5 flights of military transport aircraft are carried out to evacuate personnel between the Khmeimim airbase and Russian airfields.

The message mentions the ongoing transport of weapons and military equipment from Syria to the base in Tartus using the Russian ships Ivan Gren and Alexander Ostrakovsky. Also, the Russian bulk carrier “Sparta” from Baltiysk and the ship “Sparta II” from St. Petersburg are heading to the Syrian port to remove military equipment from Syria. Colonel General Alexander Chaiko ordered the repair of military equipment taken out of Syria.

The Main Intelligence Directorate reports that the Russian military has begun the withdrawal of its contingent from Syria using military transport aircraft.
