A plan for the partial opening of airspace was presented in Warsaw. This information was provided by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development. The presentation brought together representatives of the aviation industry from various countries, including the European Union, Great Britain and the USA, as well as heads of Ukrainian and foreign airlines, insurance and leasing companies, and aircraft manufacturers.

Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Alexey Kuleba noted that this is the first expert discussion that should help move forward in creating conditions for the opening of airspace. Preserving aviation infrastructure and qualified personnel during war is a strategic task. To achieve this, a joint plan is being developed with foreign industry regulators, airlines, insurance companies, airports and the military.

Deputy Minister Sergei Derkach presented a step-by-step plan and requirements for the partial opening of airspace. The difficulty of restoring civilian flights relates to both safety and cooperation with all parties. Representatives of the State Aviation Service, Ukrainian Movement, Air Force Command and heads of the Boryspil and Lviv international airports discussed possible risks for civil aviation, air navigation safety issues and the readiness of the air navigation system and airports.
