The upcoming concert was announced by the public organization Israeli Friends of Ukraine, which unites friends of Ukraine in Israel. The performance will take place on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at ART CLUB located at HaZerem St 9, Tel Aviv – Yafo. Doors will open at 20:00.
The concert is declared as an unofficial tribute to the band ‘Valentin Strykalo’. This means that the original band and its founder Yuriy Kaplan will not perform on stage, but rather the musicians of AhlaBoy, who have prepared a program of his songs.
The organizers promise compositions from all three albums of the band. For fans, this is an opportunity to hear their favorite music live again and sing familiar songs along with the audience.
Who is Valentin Strykalo and why are his songs still listened to

‘Valentin Strykalo’ is a Ukrainian musical project by Yuriy Kaplan, a native of Zaporizhzhia. In the late 2000s, he became known for humorous video appeals to celebrities, which he published on the internet under the fictional name Valentin Strykalo.
In 2010, the project turned into a full-fledged rock band. Its music gradually went far beyond the initial humorous image.
Songs like ‘Our Summer’, ‘Everything is Decided’, ‘Cayenne’, ‘Space Awaits Us’, and other compositions became known to listeners far beyond Ukraine.
The band released three studio albums: ‘Accept and Relax!’ (2012), ‘Part of Something Bigger’ (2013), and ‘Entertainment’ (2016).
If the early songs were often based on irony and satire, later in the band’s work, more personal, melancholic, and serious themes appeared.
In 2019, Yuriy Kaplan announced the cessation of the band’s existence. However, its songs continued to live on — in recordings, social networks, and performances by other musicians.
Who will perform in Tel Aviv
The program will be presented by AhlaBoy. This is the name indicated on the poster and the official ticket sales page.
The performance is positioned as an unofficial tribute — a concert where musicians perform works by another artist or band.
A detailed biography of AhlaBoy and the lineup of participants are not disclosed in the published announcement. Therefore, this performance should not be confused with a reunion of ‘Valentin Strykalo’.
The program includes songs from each album, and the total duration of the musical part will be about an hour and a half.
Concert in support of Ukraine
The performance also has a charitable purpose.
The organization Israeli Friends of Ukraine announced that all proceeds from ticket sales will be directed to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The same purpose of the collections is indicated on the event page in the Eventbuzz ticket service.
For the Ukrainian community in Israel, this is another opportunity to support their country. Visitors will not only be able to hear familiar songs but also contribute to helping the Ukrainian military.
At the same time, the organizers have not yet specified in the published announcement which specific unit or fund the collected funds will be transferred to.
