“He recalled, emphasizing the resilience of Ukrainians and the successes of his administration in supporting their fight against Russian aggression.

The American president knows his political career is nearing its end, and now that he does not have to fight for reelection, he intends to focus on “ending this war” in Gaza. The war in Ukraine and the conflict in Gaza have become key issues on his foreign policy agenda, and Biden is seeking to end them on his terms.

He understands that his legacy as president will be defined by these conflicts: if he succeeds in achieving peace, he will go down in history as a peacemaker; otherwise, he may be remembered as a leader who failed to solve key global problems.

Biden also mentioned the difficult situation in the Gaza Strip, where Hamas continues to resist, rejecting ceasefire proposals. He stressed that he intends to continue to pressure Hamas to force it to the negotiating table. However, the problem is that Hamas, unlike Israel, pursues destructive goals and is ready to fight to the last Palestinian, ignoring any reasonable and humanitarian arguments.

“The goal of Hamas is the destruction and annihilation of Israel: military, political, diplomatic,”

“Biden said, expressing concern that his efforts to find a peaceful solution could be ineffective.

The president also sharply criticized his predecessor Donald Trump, accusing him of weakening the US position on the world stage. Biden recalled that Trump “kowtowed to Putin” and destroyed the unity of NATO, while his administration successfully restored the trust of allies and strengthened the alliance. As an example, he cited the accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO, which was a significant step in strengthening European security.
