Vakarchuk expressed his feelings towards Tel Aviv, saying that he feels almost at home there

Ukrainian musician, leader of the band “Okean Elzy” Svyatoslav Vakarchuk spoke warmly about the Israeli city of Tel Aviv.

On Monday, February 23, the performer published a series of photos on his Instagram blog that were recently taken of him on the streets of this city. Vakarchuk even admitted that he feels like he’s in Ukraine here:

“Tel Aviv… So much freedom and warmth… Here you feel almost at home… Maybe because there are Ukrainians at every step. Even the photographer who took these photos is from Lviv… And also TA from Hebrew means “hill of spring”… Almost like the City of Spring…”.

As is known, last week Svyatoslav Vakarchuk gave concerts in Tel Aviv and Haifa. The artist said that the performances were completely sold out, and there were many Ukrainian flags in the crowd.

“Incredible emotions on stage and in the hall. A record number of Ukrainian flags. It’s a pity that it all ended so quickly,” he wrote.
